- Africa: White Nile River basin (Ref. 7393 , 28714 , 79609 ) and tributaries of Lakes Victoria (Ref. 4903 , 7393 , 34290 ), Edward (Ref. 56140 , 79609 ) George and Albert (Ref. 7393 ), and Tanganyika (Ref. 7393 , 45485 ). Present in Rusizi (Ref. 87863 ) and Malagarazi (Ref. 54847 ). Also reported from the upper Congo River basin in the upper Lualaba River (Ref. 79606 ), Bangweulu swamps and Luombwa River (Ref. 42135 ).
