The slender fusilier (Gymnocaesio gymnoptera) is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a fusilier belonging to the family Lutjanidae. It is native to tropical reefs in the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean, it is of minor importance to local commercial fisheries. This species is the only known member of its genus.
