- Atlantic Ocean: 40°N to 20°N; disjunct distribution between 30°N and about 14°N and between 8°S and 23°S in the eastern sector (recorded from 34°05'15''S, 16°00'45''E, Ref. 4066 ); also between 17°S and 28°S in the western sector. Indian Ocean: between 20°S and 30°S. Western Pacific: New Zealand (Ref. 5755 ). Central and northeast Pacific: between 35°N and 12°N.
